About Us

We are a family owned and operated Boarding facility that was
established in 1995.  It is owned by Kathy and Joe Wenderoth and managed
by our daughter Kory Wenderoth-Elbin.  There are 45 acres here that
consist of 5 grazing pastures, an indoor, and outdoor grass riding arena
along with a few trails.

Join our barn family today!  Our mission is to provide high quality care for your horse with excellent customer service, honesty, and integrity.  We care for your horse like it was our own!  Being a small facility, we can ensure a high level of care for your horse while ensuring your barn culture is a positive one, both key to a happy horse ownership.  Your horse is a member of your family that deserves high quality care.  You want a place to increase your bond with your horse.  That is where we come in.

We offer full care boarding.  Our facility includes 12' x 12' matted stalls, 4 stall grooming area with individual storage lockers, a wash rack, 80' x 125' indoor, 345' x 105' grass outdoor ring, trails, and numerous turnout areas. We only feed hay and grain of exceptional quality and your horses are looked after and loved frequently as we live onsite. Exceptional vet and farrier care is available by our barn providers or you can use your own professionals. Serving the Southern Pennsylvania area: Littlestown, Gettysburg, Hanover and Northern Carroll County Maryland, Westminster, Taneytown to name a few. 

Riding Lessons
Lessons are provided for adults and children 5 and older from beginning to advanced levels.  Private and group lessons are available.  Group lessons generally consist of 3-5 riders and last 1 hr.  We also provide seperate private lessons for adults and children

 Group 1 hr lesson:         $28.00
         Private 1/2 hr lesson:    $25.00        

Summer Camp

Fairwinds School of Horsemanship Summer Day Camp provides an extensive horse program.  Our camp is open to boys and girls, ages 5-15.  Campers enjoy daily riding lessons, horse care and horse knowledge.  We also provide swimming, games and crafts.

The life skills that horses teach children about respect, compassion, communication, trust and confidence are so powerful.  Call for prices and dates.
