Lesson Prices

Fairwinds Equestrian Center offers private and group riding lessons for all ages and experience levels.  Our instructor has a wide background of experience and knowledge in hunters, Equitation and Western.
Lesson time includes preparation of horse (bringing horse from stall to arena, mounting,  If you have prior approval from instructor you can do this ahead of time provided the horse is available and not being used. ) and returning horse to stall. Rider is responsible for grooming, picking hooves, tacking, and properly cooling out horse. Please read Cancellation Policy.  Lessons are to be paid at time of lesson.

Required Apparel For All Riding Lessons
For your safety, approved riding helmets and hard-soled shoes with a heel must be worn for all riding lessons. Riding pants or long slacks,  tall boots or chaps are recommended for your comfort.

Lesson Cancellations

You are financially responsible for all lessons not canceled 6 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Notice of cancellation must be made by calling 717-253-0282 and leaving a message.

$25.00  1/2 private (under 10 y.o.)
$30.00/each   Semi Private
$28.00/each    Group  Limit 4

Call-In Lessons

Lessons must be scheduled in advance; the lesson time is not automatically carried to the next week.

Discounted Lessons

Discounted rates are available when you pay for lessons monthly.
All fees for monthly payments are due on the first of the month. Monthly lessons must be used during that month. Any  missed days must be made up that month.  Make up lessons are available during the week.

4 one hour private:   $130.00
5 one hour private:   $165.00

4 one hour semi-private:  $110.00
5 one hour semi-private:  $140.00

4 half hour private:    $90.00
5 half hour private:    $115.00


4 one hour group:      $102.00
5 one hour group:      $130.00

Horse Show Prices

Horse shows are billed a $25.00 coaching + hauling fees of $25.00.  Show entry fees are paid directly to Fairwinds Equestrian Center on the day of the show.
